Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Laura Castro brings a deep understanding of Texas communities and values to her legal practice. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice from St. Mary’s University before beginning a career in state government.
Laura spent several years working at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, where she served in various roles, including Legislative Director and Committee Clerk for multiple Texas House committees. She later worked as a lobbyist for an Austin-based firm and as a Government Relations Specialist for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Through this work, she developed a strong foundation in public policy, advocacy, and navigating complex legal and regulatory systems.
Motivated to expand her ability to serve others, Laura pursued her law degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law, graduating in 2015. Since then, she has dedicated her legal career to family law.
With nearly a decade of experience, Laura represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoptions. She understands that these cases are deeply personal and often challenging, and she is committed to guiding her clients through difficult transitions with clarity, strength, and a focus on achieving meaningful, lasting outcomes.
